Saying Goodbye's, Starting Construction and Our Last Months at NTBI

Hey everyone!  Hope all is going well with you and your families.  We appreciate you all very much and we miss you all.

We have just finished up our internships here at school and graduation was a week ago Saturday at NTBI for our seniors.  It's sad to see them go as we had a good number of friends in that class, a few couples that we spent a considerable amount of time with them these last two years.  Saying goodbye is hard, especially when you've come to love these people and as you've grown alongside them for these years, but we hope to see many of them at the Missionary Training Center next Fall!!

Josh has just begun his job as a foreman for one of the crews doing renovations on the school.  There is a lot to work on this summer as the building is very old and is well below fire and safety code.  God was so faithful in providing this job for Josh as we needed a job this summer and income as we look to save for further training next fall.  Felicia will be picking up some hours cleaning the campus and volunteering in the office.  We're excited for our summer here in Michigan and look forward to extra time to spend with some couples who are around and helping on the work project at school and more time to spend at our church Skiff Lake Bible Church, which has been an incredible home to us here and we love going there every week.  Please pray for our remaining time there at Skiff Lake and our relationship with them.

In other news, as most of you have heard by now we are expecting a BABY come September! We are so thrilled and excited for this next phase of our lives! As surprising as it was at first we have been enjoying the preparations for our new little boy. Felicia is in the beginning of her sixth month (about 23/24 weeks) and loving carrying this little bundle of joy. Josh is also sure he's practicing his soccer skills since he moves around and kicks all of the time :) It's been neat to see friends and family so excited for us and supporting us as we are taking on the new responsibilities of parenthood.

Through our first year of marriage it has been amazing to see how faithful God is.  On the outside we may look like good Christians that have it all together, but on the inside we have moments over the past few months where we've been freaking out.  From the surprise pregnancy, to finances, what are we going to do for work, we have our moments where we look at each other and think "What are we going to do?"  But it's been amazing to see God comfort our hearts with His Word and the testimony of God's character and tell us that as we trust Him, we have nothing to worry about.  He will provide for us physically and as parents, as Christians desiring to grow, He has already provided us with everything we need in His Son.  So please pray that we would continue to learn to trust God with everything the comes our way in life instead of running to our human wisdom first.  Pray that we would continue to abide in Him and His Word, as we trust Him to conform us to the image of Christ.

Love you guys!

Josh and Felicia (& Baby Sheridan)
